Important information regarding the start of school for WES from Superintendent Fox:

Due to construction delays, WES  will be opening after other the schools in SAU #23.  WES students will start school on TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 2, 2025 (not Monday August 25, 2025).  This delay should not affect the date of the last day of school in June 2026. WHS and HCMS will be starting as planned August 25, 2025.

This decision was not an easy one to make, but on Monday August 4, 2025, after a tour of the building  and a discussion with the project manager and Steve Emerson (Haverhill Cooperative Facilities manager) it was apparent that there was no way to safely open school before September 2, 2025.

I apologize for the delay. I recognize the problems that this delay causes for many of our WES families.
